Little Connections' Core values
Christ-Centered
Proverbs 22:6 teaches us the importance of guiding children on the right path, emphasizing the role of caregivers in shaping a child's future. At Little Connections Child Care Center, we strive to instill values and teachings that align with this wisdom.
Similarly, Matthew 19:14 highlights the significance of children in the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus' invitation for them to come to Him. This serves as a reminder of the pure and open-hearted nature of children, encouraging us to foster an environment where they can learn about faith and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
By grounding our programs and interactions in these Biblical principles, we aim to create a nurturing space where children can explore their faith, develop strong moral character, and feel the love of Christ in their daily lives. Our commitment is to guide them not just in academics, but also in their spiritual journey, ensuring a holistic approach to their growth and development.
Community
It takes a village to raise children, and we are honored to be a part of that village. At Little Connections Child Care Center, Inc., we strongly believe that partnering with families and the community aids in fostering a successful life for children now and in the future. It is essential for children to understand the world around them and recognize that they play a significant role today and in shaping their futures. Through collaboration and support, we can create an enriching environment that nurtures their development, encourages exploration, and instills a sense of responsibility and belonging within the greater community. Together, we can empower our children to thrive and become confident individuals who contribute positively to society.
Development
At Little Connections Child Care Center, Inc., we believe in a hands-on approach to learning that nurtures each child's growth in a holistic manner. Our aim is for children to gain confidence and knowledge in three key areas: their faith in Jesus Christ, their understanding of themselves, and their awareness of the world around them.
Recognizing the importance of the early years, our program supports each child’s social, cognitive, spiritual, physical, and emotional development through loving, developmentally appropriate, and engaging learning experiences.
Social Development
We foster social skills through interactive play, group activities, and cooperative learning. Children engage with their peers, developing communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution abilities that are essential for building lasting relationships.
Cognitive Development
Our curriculum is designed to stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Through hands-on learning experiences, language development, and creative expression, children explore new concepts and ideas, laying the foundation for academic success.
Spiritual Development
We are dedicated to nurturing the whole child as God created them—mind, body, heart, and spirit. Grounded in biblical truth and Christ-centered teaching, we provide a safe and nurturing environment where each child is known, valued, and guided to grow in faith, character, and wisdom. Our goal is to help children develop a strong foundation in Christ while building the skills and confidence needed for lifelong learning and service.
Physical Development
We recognize the importance of physical activity in overall well-being. Our program incorporates ample opportunities for movement through structured physical activities and free play, promoting both gross and fine motor skills necessary for everyday tasks.
Emotional Development
Emotional intelligence is a focal point of our program. We support children in identifying and expressing their emotions, developing empathy, and building resilience. Our nurturing environment offers guidance in managing feelings and fostering self-confidence.
